Governance
The BLA is a registered charity in the UK. The Association's objectives and rules of the society are laid out in its constitution.
The BLA Council comprises between 12 – 16 members.
The principal roles of the Council are to:
- develop the mission and vision of the BLA
- strategically plan to secure the financial future of the BLA
- raise awareness of issues related to laryngology and build public understanding of the specialism
- manage the Council and the business of the BLA effectively, and
- develop research strategy in laryngology and related disciplines.
