An introduction to the voice clinic – case discussions and practical skills will be held on Friday 10 February 2023 in central London (Welbeck Health, Wigmore Street). The focus will be on multidisciplinary working in the voice clinic, with detailed case presentations from two experienced voice teams. In the afternoon, practical stations will provide training in laryngeal endoscopy. There will also be discussion of interpretation of stroboscopy footage. A further station run by Ed Blake, will provide training in laryngeal palpatory assessment. Ed Blake, Director and Lead Physiotherapist at Physio Ed, is widely recognised as one of the leading physiotherapists in the UK treating performers.

A prerequisite will be a working knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the vocal tract
