Sunil P Verma
Sunil P. Verma, M.D. is an associate professor in the Department of Otolaryngology –Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, Irvine and the director of the UC Irvine Health Voice and Swallowing Center. Dr. Verma obtained his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. He received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and then went on to complete residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at USC. Dr Verma then completed a fellowship in Laryngology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under a team of world-renowned surgeons and scientists.
Dr Verma practices all aspects of Laryngology and has established a busy tertiary care center in Orange County, California. He has published extensively on office based laryngology and surgical innovation. Dr. Verma authored the textbook “Laryngeal Dissection and Surgical Guide” which is used worldwide. He has written over 50 scientific publications and numerous book chapters. Dr Verma has been honored as one of the “Best Doctors in America” and has been recognized by the Orange County Medical Association as a “Physician of Excellence.” He was also is a “Super Doctor” award recipient and was named an ARISE award winner for his achievements as an Innovator at UC Irvine Health. Dr Verma’s research interests include clinical outcomes in Laryngology and technological applications in otolaryngology to improve patient care.
